About S Smith & Sons Funeral Directors
S Smith & Sons Funeral Directors has been serving the community Edenbridge since 1930.
We cover Edenbridge and its surrounding areas including Four Elms, Bough Beech, Cowden, Marsh Green and Chiddingstone. We have also provided funerals for residents of nearby Lingfield, Surrey and further afield.
The team at our Edenbridge funeral home will provide advice at every stage of the funeral planning process, and will arrange an individual and unique funeral to help you celebrate the life of your loved one.
Here at S Smith & Sons Funeral Directors we also offer an affordable prepaid funeral plan, Choice, so that you can arrange and pay for a funeral in advance. This will protect your family from rising costs and remove uncertainty about your wishes.
If you would like to talk to us about planning a funeral, or our Choice plan, please come and see us in any of our funeral homes, or if you’d rather we can arrange a home visit. We’re also available 24 hours a day on the phone so if you need anything please don’t hesitate to call your local funeral home.
Meet the Team
Funeral Arranger & Administrator
Glenys started her working life in local government. She really enjoyed her previous 2 jobs, caring for the elderly in a local Residential Home and serving the local Edenbridge Community for 14 years in the sub- post office.
She has worked for S Smith & Sons Funeral Directors since 2008 and finds her work fulfilling especially when meeting and helping families.
She says “I find it fulfilling meeting and working with people and giving them a good service.”
Glenys and her husband have lived in Edenbridge for over 45 years. She loves being involved with family activities around the town and is part of The Eden Church Family.
She also enjoys being a member of her local W.I. and has served on the Committee in various roles and is a member of their Eden Entertainers. She likes to attend her local movement to music classes and her time at home is spent gardening.
Caitlin joined the company in November 2011 and has progressed from Funeral Arranger to Funeral Director.
